If I was going to buy the game this would turn me off of buying it, much like Yakuza 3 has done. As it stands it will barely reach my rental list anyway.

Mixed audio is terrible though, anyone played the story mode of Tekken 6? Mess.

arrrrrrgh! ITS NOT MIXED AUDIO!.... It just means that there may be a few scenes that were voiced in the Japanese version that will be voiced in English( just text)

TBH, this just sounds like an excuse to me.

okay... Since the beginning of ROF development, thay have made it pretty clear they want the PS3 and 360 to equal.... Meaning NO differences. So the PS3 in all its BR goodness most likely could handle the task.. the 360 could not. So instead of saying give PS3 all Voice work and 360 partial.. and upset/turn ppl away from 360 they said scrape it... hows that a Xxcuse? Theee trying not to what SE did with 360 version of FFXlll... I mean you know how thats turning out.

Why not include ONLY English voices? The 360 doesn't have a problem handling that. No squeeze-ins required like that the way I understand it.

Am I understanding you correctly?

And yeah, I obviously know the FFXIII case. SE fucked it up.

I hope they push the date back, and advertise its ridiculous im still finding ppl who never heard of the game

I just wish they didn't coming out a week after FFXIII and the same week as God of War 3......I'm not saying that GoW3 will effect it much but having it follow the week after Final Fantasy XIII is not a great idea imo. I'd think an April or May release would be a lot better for the game. That's what i think will eventually happen with Tales of Vesperia on the PS3 in the US (i hope at least).

They couldn't have picked a worse month, tbh.

because its SEGA's new style of keeping there Japanese games authentic.. I guess + plus tri-Ace past interview hinted they may not have been happy with the English VA's for there past titles. They strongly urged to play it in Japanese. We dont know how many scenes wont be voiced but as long as the important scenes get voiced it doesn't matter.

Agreed.

HR, BFBC2, GoW3, FFXIII, there is a game every week that I bought :P

(I still ordered RoF though)

They should have released in summer, I can't think of any games between Alan Wake and the end of the year (Fable 3, GT5, Reach that I want)

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

SEGA has done a horrific job of advertising this game in the west... probably in Japan too. Those stupid fuckers, I really had high hopes For SEGA but other than a bigger budget they have done a worse Job the SE at promoting tri-Ace games. at least everybody knew what IU and SO4 was.

Sega keeping Japanese games authentic doesn't come off too strong when they cut Yakuza content that supposedly doesn't properly address Western gamers (ok, the history test is one thing, hostess club another entirely).

But after Star Ocean I wouldn't blame Tri-Ace for disliking dubs.

I like japanese voice with english subs anyway. So go me :D

wtf??? this is a major turn-off, but i'll still get it eventually.

Only half-correct given that they've introduced the knife to some very Japanese content in Yakuza 3 US.

Sorry for the late replies, it's just that I'm @ work ATM.
