i just got the game an hour in and so far its pretty good. right know im at the arena playing the tutorials there's nice amount of them. they start you off with a few side jobs to do and a main quest pretty good so far though.

Side quests? I like those :D

There are 15 chapters that are cut up into a main quest and side quest + a lots additional un story related dungeons to get through

Tri-Ace is very good when it comes to optional stuff. People also say there stories suck. But I like them. S03 <3<3

Why do these japanese companies insist on seeing their JRPG's fail?

first they release tons of them exclusive to a console in Japan that has sold significantly lower than the other consoles

now they are shipping more to the console that clearly isn't gonna sell them (on VGChartz pre-order chart ROF PS3 version made it....not 360 version).

S-E shipped more 360 FFXIII's to the GAME, HMV & Gamestation in my town.......result the PS3 version was sold out on the first day....the 360 version was just lying there.

Why do they do this?!

lol only problem so far is that vashyron has some kinda lame one liners after fights.
example. "if that was wrong i don't wanna be right"

The standard PS3 version was also sold out in some important games shops here in Madrid, Spain (FNAC, Corte Ingles). It's Spain man, were even shooters outsell the XBox version 3 to 1.

I'm happy though that Yakuza 3 has become a moderate niche succes, and if the word of mouth is positive among the PS3 users like with Valkyria Chronicles I think that RoF can end up selling well.

I was excited for this game when it was first announced, and then I became seriously doubtful when I saw the gameplay. I just though flipping 10 times in the air looked ridiculous.

Then I played the demo...
Flipping 10x in the air is the most badass feeling, rofl.
So I'm pretty psyched for the game..

Excellent March 26 release in UK.....GOW3 can suck it I'll get this day 1.

Now I hope we don't have stock problems like you are having in the US

I would assume that since EU is more pro PS3 we should get more copies of ROF for PS3 (even though I live in the UK)

But the worst feeling is going into a shop & seeing the game sold out........and then seeing it available for another console!
