I always liked the wii Controls but the graphics not so much. I will buy one definetly. Sooner or later but Nintendo games are timeless classics so no need to have one yet.

I also like the Concept of the Arc the design is nice and I liked what I saw on E3. I am looking a little bit forward to it. But there is one problem which nobody seems to mention or atleast I never hear that someone has problems with it. Its in my eyes a catastrophical problem and a huge flaw in the concept. Sony will present Arc soon but I havent seen a solution for the problem. it seems like the people dont register it or just dont believe that Sony could be actually so stupid. Also I have read an Interview some days ago where a developer talked about the arc and he didnt even considered that Sony would actually be so dumb (stupid, retarded) to do what (based on todays informations) they probably gona do. 

I am taking about the thing that we are supposed to hold a Dualshock 3 in one hand and basically use it as a Nunchuk.

I dont know if Nintendo has a patent on the principle of the Nunchuk but sony could find other solutions like 2 pointers one with Stick and the other one with Buttons. I thought months ago that we will see soon the Sony-Nunchuk but nothing yet. And he GDC is my last hope because then something HAS to happen. I still cant believe that sony does such a retarded move.

Am I the only one who would mind this ? Its just so stupid that I cant find words for it. What do you think ? Will the mass of the people mind this problem ?

I see a pretty huge potential in the Arc it could be a great thing not only for casuals but also  for "Hardcore" Players. I love the idea playing Wrpgs FPS TPS and things like that with the Arc. Also the camera offers a lot of things which could be used in games. But imo without a Nunchuk it would be all useless and I wouldnt buy it. Does Sony know that this is a stupid move ?

Hopefully GDC will show us a solution for that, People seem to be absolutely sure that Sony wouldnt do that so they dont even talk about it but maybe thats a mistake because Sony could think that people are ok with that.

For me this decision would be as bad as the decision to use the banana controller as PS3 Controller. I still cant imagine that Sony thought this is a good idea with the banana controller. Maybe the situation now is similar. If they werent able to see the banana controller was a mistake maybe they are not able to see that the DS3 as Nunchuk is a mistake. I dont care what they are going to develop as long as the solution is not holding the DS3 in one hand.

they may anounche at gdc thats gonna be 100$or free or bundled with 2 games at 40$...anything,and then you make thread saying it/wont fail.

Infact I hoped someone could lower my concerns and I wanted to know if i am the only one seeing this as a problem. If noone sees it as a problem then Sony wont see it as a problem either and not find a solution for that.

I think they will have a 'Sony nunchuck', but since it will be wireless (and it requires a camera not a motion sensor), I don't think Nintendo can yell copyright infringement.
Also, I see the DS3 as a cheap ass gamers way of not having to buy a 'Sony nunchuck' when you already have controllers sitting around. Its options depending on what you are more comfortable with.

A problem that nobody seems to mention? Maybe you haven't looked around that much, but there isn't much serious discussion about Arc that doesn't eventually degrade into "Where's the analog stick?" and speculation about how it will be handled.
