I'm hyped. Have it preordered and was watching one of the trailers again last night. Only hope I can finish Tales of Vesperia before it comes in!

FFXIII for XBox 360 or PS3?

I have both consoles but I can not decide which version of the game to buy. I may have to get the game for the XBox 360 to support Microsoft and out of fanboyism. I like the 360 more than PS3. The games are more fun on the 360 and the controller is better. (Fanboyism kicking in).

PS3 version of FFXIII it is supposed to be the better version of the game. But who trusts the media? God of War III is coming out a week later and IMO it will be a more enjoyable game experience than FFXIII.

I do not like JRPGs. FFXIII is supposed to be a lot different to those old fashioned turn based games that never end. FFXIII is not really considered a JRPG.

83 on Metacritic is really worrying. Not buying first day. Not with God of War in two weeks. You have to prioritize, see.

They havent added any of the scores that came out in the last two days.

I hear you, my hype died for this game like 6 years ago when it was halfway through development (joke). But seriously, they took so long, and it doesn't look like much beyond pretty colors. Then again, most FFs are pretty non-innovative, but they're still fun, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

But actually, I'm starting to hate ATB. Come up with something new SE! It would work better if it made more sense. But having your character stand there for a few seconds is just stupid. I'm sure that's how it would work in a real setting too (sarcasm).

I was so hyped that my hype fuel tank is on E, but it will be refueled at the midnight release at gamestop!

You know, I was just having this talk with our boi.  I came to the conclusion that there havn't been enough trailers for the game to make me hyped.  Seeing all this crazy God of War footage, and playing through God of War 2 just now has gotten me soo hyped.  But with Final Fantasy, nada.  Like when Final Fantasy X came out, just hearing that piano theme play while seeing all the characters by the fire I wanted to see what "his" story was; why were they there.  It MADE me want Final Fantasy X right away.  Like, seeing all the summons and such in Final Fantasy X I was hyped.  Right now nada.  I mean the recent english trailer did nothing for me.  And seeing everyone ride their summons around in combat isn't getting me hyped.  Like, when I first saw Lightning 3-4 years ago (Can't remember the first trailer) seeing her use her time techiniques that are possibly gone now(Are they gone now?) I was hyped.  Seeing that bit of combat, I was hyped.  The recent trailer, does nothing for me.  It ain't making me go "OMG".  I don't know if it's cause it took too long or if Square sucked at making the trailer, hell it might even be the Leona Lewis song in the background instead of the jpop they initially had.  Or maybe Square needs more trailers out there in the wild.  I mean it's a week to release and there's not much released trailer wise except that one trailer.  Hell I figured some jap footage or something to scour through the net, but unless I youtube it, nothing.  Maybe Square's doing a bad job of hyping the game cause I'm honestly seeing so little of the game out there.

And im not talking about FF13 either! Whoever in this post calls themselves a FF fan and ISNT buying it the first day it comes out is no fan in my books!!!! FRAUD is what i tell u ppl! how can u NOT buy the first final fantasy on the newest console?!? thats like saying im not gonna get FF10 when it came out on PS2!
Ill be one of those fools standing out in the morning of march 9th in front of EB Games waiting for the store to open.
