I don't think you are not a big fan of FF...but almost everyone here who is saying they're not hyped is not a fan of JRPG's in general.

I'm not hyped, and we both know I love JRPGs; especially Final Fantasy ;).  But there's two sides to the coin Perpride; a grind fest with a good story, or an explorative grind fest... with a good story.  I personally like exploring and talking to NPCs.  People don't.  Seems like most people on this forum like that stuff so it's a dissapointment to many.  Question is will the story keep people interested enough that the gameplay couldn't have been broken up like Final Fantasy X?  And you're one of the few people to have played through the game to answer that and I know you're going to say yes.  The other thing is; the way Kitase has been running his mouth has really made me like the game less.  Anyways I'm off to play White Knight Chronicles, let me know how your soccer game goes.

Dude I don't even understand how you're not hyped...like honestly, God of War 3 over Final Fantasy XIII? The game is freaking gold like seriousley...One of the top 3 Final Fantasy games.

You know, I was just having this talk with our boi.  I came to the conclusion that there havn't been enough trailers for the game to make me hyped.  Seeing all this crazy God of War footage, and playing through God of War 2 just now has gotten me soo hyped.  But with Final Fantasy, nada.  Like when Final Fantasy X came out, just hearing that piano theme play while seeing all the characters by the fire I wanted to see what "his" story was; why were they there.  It MADE me want Final Fantasy X right away.  Like, seeing all the summons and such in Final Fantasy X I was hyped.  Right now nada.  I mean the recent english trailer did nothing for me.  And seeing everyone ride their summons around in combat isn't getting me hyped.  Like, when I first saw Lightning 3-4 years ago (Can't remember the first trailer) seeing her use her time techiniques that are possibly gone now(Are they gone now?) I was hyped.  Seeing that bit of combat, I was hyped.  The recent trailer, does nothing for me.  It ain't making me go "OMG".  I don't know if it's cause it took too long or if Square sucked at making the trailer, hell it might even be the Leona Lewis song in the background instead of the jpop they initially had.  Or maybe Square needs more trailers out there in the wild.  I mean it's a week to release and there's not much released trailer wise except that one trailer.  Hell I figured some jap footage or something to scour through the net, but unless I youtube it, nothing.  Maybe Square's doing a bad job of hyping the game cause I'm honestly seeing so little of the game out there.
