7.5 hours for 60 stars, 17 hours for 120 stars. Most people will need at least 20 hours though, which is a lot of playtime for a platformer.

With just 60 stars you skip about 1/3 of the various galaxies in the game, so collecting all 120 stars is highly recommended. Plus, you get to play way more different levels than in either Super Mario 64 and Sunshine.

cool i like a game has has alot of different levels

Togepi, looks like you're doing it the opposite way as I am. I've been rushing to open all the levels with the minimum amount of stars, and intend to search them in more detail later.

yeah thats a good way to do it

does this game show for how long you have played it

I don't like doing that.

I lose ambition with a game once I know I've seen everything

My bro got his first 120 in around 18 hours, with occasional 2P aid (that's me...)
Actually he has got all 242 (or 244, if you count the 2 necessary retake) long time ago, and our Wii has gone back to sleep for some time already...

I'm at 13 hours and about 55 stars. Checked on my messages.

I've seen many people comment that it's better to get the 60 star ending and then go for the 120. The reason being is you can do the second 60 stars in a more varied order.

That's so true. When I collected the 120 stars a second time I tried to get as many stars as possible (104) before saving Peach. The way you have to collect the remaining stars after the first ending is very painful.

Rol, you are a beast. Out since 4 days and already a second playthrough. Get yourself a girlfriend, If you already have one, get a second one. Or a third. I mean all that energy must go somewhere.

It took me around 20 hours to get 120 stars. I also used the check your daily playtime messages.

104 is the maximum before saving Peach? Thanks. I'm at 80 stars right now and on the sixth Grand Galaxy. (I'm surprised there's no Bowser level in it!)

BTW, Toy Time and Melty Molten (the one mission I've played of it) are awesome.

I think my four favorite levels (so far) are Good Egg, Gusty Garden, Toy Time, and Melty Molten.

Cool..so does everyone or at least most of you agree that Galaxy is the best Wii game so far???
