If they have never connected their PS3s to the net then many people may not have a problem. Their internal clock will be affected like everyone elses but so far it only appears that there is an issue playing games that have trophies. If the PS3 was never connected to the internet then they would have never downloaded the firmware update that enabled trophies and so may not be experiencing any issues at all. The latest FW update is always included with the latest-pressed games.

Just checked into that and you're right, never knew they included system updates with some games. Ah well, they're dooomed then!!

I guess Sony will have to supply discs with the fix on then, not an ideal solution.

The date on my PS3 is still 1/1/2000
but its the second march here in germany already
so i guess it didnt fix itself then

I just turned my on, and its fixed working fine, im on PSN no problems hell yeh, i am happy now, the only weird thing is my time and date is still off , it says its 8:34pm when its really 3:38pm and its saying the date is december 10, 2018  weird

Go to date/time and update via the internet optiojn and you will be fine everything looks normal

I didnt have my ps3 turned on for the last 24 hours. But it being a fat 60 gig euro, i'll presume it would be affected by this.

I just turned it on now. It's march 2 and it's been so for 49 minutes. My ps3 is showing the date as yesturday. In other words, as march1. Time should fix itself :) by the looks of it.

you should be able to log in to PSN now and play your games, everything is fixedd (just checked). My clock says 2/28 8:10pm (in reality it's 3/1 7pm est)
