Ouch! According to a UK trade publication, a number of game developers are reporting that their PS3 dev systems have also been hit by the serious errors although they are slight different to the bug found on retail PS3 units. Hopefully this problem can be fixed in a timely fashion and hasn't caused too much distress to the projects of developers!

According to http://www.develop-online.net/news/33995/Now-developers-PS3s-are-hit-by-system-errors this bug is not identical to the retail PS3 bug but is related:

"A multitude of debug consoles – crucial to the development of current PS3 projects – have been thrown into a rebooting cycle, due to an endlessly-looping error message. The issue comes as a separate issue is affecting retail PS3 consoles, though both problems are thought to be related."

wow, really bad unlucky week for the PS3, i am sure sony will fix this soon, but the bad press will hurt them a bit.

I blame M$... The want FF13 to sell better on the 360 :P J/k They need to fix this ASAP!!! Esp for the Devs... We need our games !!!
