anyway I'm still confused bout starters as Chikorita has the best personality, its so cool, but I HATE the grass type

Cyndaquill is boooooring....BUT i LOVE Fire Type Pokemon

That's an awesome team, especially with Feraligatr, Scizor, and Tyranitar (one of my favorites, but he's already in my Diamond team). Yeah, the Gold/Silver sprites were definitely awesome, especially Machamps.

I take it you're buying HeartGold?

I have both HeartGold and SoulSilver pre-ordered. My female's name is going to be Lyra and my male's is Ethan (that's what Serebii said the male's would be). Plus, I have the Japanese ROMs on my laptop, so I already know what to expect

Oh, and if you didn't know, there are nature-sound effects in a lot of areas. When you walk on regular grass, you hear the soft swoosh of walking on it. When on dirt or whatever, you'll hear footsteps. Inside buildings you'll hear footsteps on tile. When near the ocean, you'll hear ocean waves and near water you will hear rushing water. So yeah

We have a true blue Pokemaniac in here folks... *hi5* I am humbled.

And yeah, I was reading up on Bulbapedia on the added ambient sounds. It's a really neat feature, maybe this time I'll have the music turned up (I seriouly only listen to music on my DS if it's Castlevania... ).

Probably Soul Silver. Depends on which ones my brothers' get though. They both sound like they want Silver too. >_>

Haha, I bought my sister Platinum for Christmas (her first Pokemon game) and my brother and I will be buying HeartGold and SoulSilver. It'll be fun to battle each other at the end of our adventures. She has a surprisingly strong team for a first timer!

It's always more fun to battle people you know personally in the same room. lol

I'll probably force one of my brother's to get Gold.
