PC is on a rolll. Its got DX11 games coming out this year and each one will be more impressive than anything else out there. DX11 is quickly approaching the epic level of DX9 for me.

We can't swoon over gameplay without playing it.

The story's pretty straight forward... It's not like it changes depending on how you play like Mass Effect or Heavy Rain. 

OT: I'm gonna be a bit different and place my bets on Twisted Metal or a New IP.

i think it is. I hate it when people say something looks like a ps2 game. i mean does it matter what it looks like if it is fun?


well i think it does matter... but its not the be all and end all... 

it sure wasnt last gen..

What i meant was that most of my friends will not play a game no matter how great it is if it doesnt have great graphics. THat is something that pisses me off.

When it comes to Sony's 1st party i thinkk its safe to say if the graphics are top notch then so will the quality of the gameplay, take U2, KZ2, U1, MLB2008, and HR for examples.

what a ridiculous statement to get out of this.  The reason people talk mostly about graphics when something isn't out yet is because that's basically all there is to discuss, if we got a demo for it we'd talk about gameplay, and once we play it we can talk about story but based solely on trailers the only thing you can usually tell is generalities about story and gameplay and the only thing you can directly discuss with any modicum of assuredness is the graphics/presentation as a whole.

but i already has no other game can make me buy 3 copies of it!

well whats ridiculous is that people are already hyped and salivating for the graphics of a game we havet even seen or know what it is?  thats ridiculous.

btw.. anyone dealing with the guy that told me to STFU yet?

 

 

They're hyped because of the promise of something new and cool looking, how hard is that to understand?  Hell I'm kind of curious to see if it's footage of Last Guardian because I think that game is likely to be beautiful in presentation and overall.

I warned the guy, and since we're being all open with moderation I then considered moderating you for taking this thread off topic and doing your whole "why does everyone care so much about graphics" speel.  Also considering moderating the guy who took the chance to talk randomly about PC's but I left him be.
