Which Wii game are you most excited about for first half 2010?
Mine is Metroid: Other M Followed closely by Fragile Dreams
I only know a little bit of what to expect. They are keeping me interested and I think they will both be loads of fun.

Metroid Other M followed by galaxy 2 but we will get metroid in Q3 in Europe, so galaxy 2
Metroid Other M>>> Super Mario Galaxy 2 >>>>>> Red Steel 2>Sin & Punishment
The other two I already have the Japanese versions. Well I sold Monster Hunter 3 to a friend after importing, and will buy the American release for the online multiplayer . Fragile I might rent to help clear up some mistakes in what I understood of the Japanese/didn't find translations online for the story.

This. Except Switch Galaxy and Red Steel 2 in my case.
sc how'd you like MH3?
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

Mario Galaxy. I'm intrigued by the new take on Metroid and hope it ends up being all kinds of awesome, so while I'm certainly excited for it Mario is ahead in the excitement stakes for now. I plan on buying all games in the poll except probably Fragile.

I too am 5/6 of what I plan to buy. Not sure about Red Steel 2 yet did not really like the first oen much. Then again 250-300 is a lot of money, but I think I will be ok. More worried about having enough time to play them all.

It doesn't change much of the formula from other Monster Hunter games, but it is definitely filled with tons of content and it is very polished. The main difference from the other Monster Hunter games is its online focus, and it's online exclusive quests. Basically it is a subsitute for the lan play. Other than that, it fits in with the values of the series. If you like the series you will like this, if you don't then you won't. I spent a good amount of hours pushing through the game, but I'm almost certain I will enjoy it more when playing multiplayer, which I did get working in the Japanese version through Homebrew, but didn't play much of it with other people due to the language barrier of course. If you are looking for a good Action game to spend tons of hours in, and one with a good multiplayer system then you will love it.
Galaxy 2, hands down. With that said, I'm buying Galaxy 2, Other M, Red Steel 2, and Monster Hunter 3 anyway.
Of that list, Metroid Other M. However, tied with Metroid, I have a DS game on my 'most wanted' list.
Im the only one, RS2 baby.
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
