Also, I had completely forgotten about this but they're making a Nightmare on Elm Street remake (saw the movie poster last night)!

I generally wouldn't care a lot but Jackie Earle Haley is playing Freddy! He's such an awesome actor and I'm sure he'll make Freddy awesome again. If you've seen Shutter Island you know how completely uncomfortable his presence can make you, I can't wait until he brings that to Nightmare on Elm Street.

Stop doing that!

Stop getting pumped for things that are obviously going to suck so you can bash them later.

Michael Bay is producing it, how good can it be?

Maybe I'm not so excited for it.  Freddy doesn't need an explosion every 15 minutes...unless it's some person exploding.

Also, the Crazies would be just as bad even if I wasn't pumped for it.  The Crazies was the type of movie I went in not expecting anything other than a fun zombie-ish type movie for some good fun.  All I got was a zombie-ish movie that set itself up to be good and then decided to be utterly generic in every way possible.

I want to see it.

But if we go the the theater I would probably choose Alice in Wonderland over it.

I heard Jackie Earle Haley was the ONLY thing that was worth mentioning in the movie, which is a shame cause Freddy movies were fun(ny). I want to see his other movies, so far all I have seen was Watchmen.
