Ridge racer & ace combat. I got the PS1 close to release. Blockbusters were hiring it out on release. I hired a machine and those two games and was amazed that ridge race was very close to the arcade game. My fave games from the PS1/PSX/PS (whatever you call it) were driver, GT1, tombraider, metalgear solid, RE1 & quite a few more that i cant be bothered to remember.

for me, Metal Gear Solid sold me! borrowed the system and game from my friend. I ended up trading a PC setup for the system and 1 game. Ive been giving Sony my money ever since.
