what is the legitimity of these "pro-racer" guys to rate the "fun" or the "multiplayer" of a game ? or even the sound ?

they can only rate the physics and, sadly, it is still only 1 "pro-racer" guy opinion at the end

They aren't even pro-racers. At most they might have some track experience.

Anyone able to find their biography? Google can't find any.

oh, I thought they were a bit more experienced ... I mean : some people here take them as a reference ...

@Darth Tigris,

you do know that the OP is taken from a blog outside VGC, right ?

Time to Work !

I was going to look and see where Forza 3 sat on the weekly lists, but I was too lazy. Thanks Mendicate for pointing it out.

Hmm the more complex the Physics the more dependend is your success on skills and also cars can have certain strengths and weaknesses which affect the car only if th calculation is based on a lot of parameters. This leads to a diverse carpool in the charts.

I wonder how GT5 will be in the end maybe thats why they need so much time because they try to make the physics and balancing as perfect as possible.

well, the driving physics from the GT5 demo are already superior to FM3 driving physics according to most gtplanet/neogaff users.

I dont even need to mention the technical aspect where GT5 is ... also superior (more prettier cars on race)

Wow stop the presses!  The users at gtplanet.com think that gran turismo is better than forza.  Unbiased opinions ftw!

your comment is evidence that the game is not a driving simulator targeted at racing fans like turn 10 claimed at launch, but an arcade racer targeted at casual racing gamers(like you) and from a racing fan's point of view the game is crap. I havent played the game but was interest in it until now.

Lol, just lol.  I guess in a way it's at least semi-refreshing to see someone who doesn't mind wearing their bias right out there on their sleave...

edit: Wow, sources don't get any more authoritative than blogspot.  If someone on there says the physics are crap then he must be right...

not a very good article. im playing forza 3 at the mo it is deffo a good game, but some things i am against.

* the decision to go on 2 dvd`s, if you have arcade then you are screwed, i think this is the 1st game released where not everyone on that console can enjoy game.

* almost on everyrace that i play when you are right up behind another car he will almost all the time drive off track its annoying as hell.

* gravel physics are well off, if you are doing 100mph, and drive over gravel its as if you are driving over super glue the car slows down super quick 100mph - 5mph in 0.5secs

*it still has same ammount of cars on track as forza 1

*track grafix are non consistant with others, camino and a few others are stella the rest are normal

*i dont like that you have to be a gold member for little extras, ie turn10 gift you cars, when i cilick on download it says only for gold members,

*and finally i dont like the way turn10 have touted drag strip tracks as being more tracks, they are just more of less str8 line.

imo i would give it a 9.3 its well worth it if you havent got it already,

You can also add vgchartz as well as every other open forums, lol

lol I know right? no don't listen to the critics....these web fourms have your answers, and theres no ps3 fanboys on them so nothing to worry about haha....wow some people are desperate to hate on this game...

It's simply amazing how they actually believe they made a point. Fanboys, pfff

until you prove me wrong ... I made a point.

Another "fanboys" free claim ... it remind me the "best console racing game ever" claim ... wait ... it was from you lol

How could i prove that that which does not exist does actually exist ?

As for the claim : it is actually "best console racing simulation" and its' the consensus among the gaming community. You'll find that claim in numerous reviews. Just out of curiosity, which is according to you the best racing simulator on consoles ?

"Since someone else posted their Forza 3 review I won't bother reposting it. What I find most entertaining about this thread is that the majority of people that agree with the article haven't even played Forza 3. I'm guessing waiting 5 plus years for a single game has created a lot of insecurities."

Pure pure win

i have the game, the online is kind of a let down compared to part 2, for starters every public match has collision on default which means anyone who wants to mess up your game probably will, lets say you on your last lap and the guy behind wants to win, he'll slam you and take the win and because collision is set in default you cant do nothing about it unless you host your own private match, but when you do host a private match it cant go public like people cant join your room like in part 2, only people you invite will join so i think it’s inconvenient,

also the cock pit detail is lacking, i believe gt5 had much better in cockpit detail, for example we all know Ferrari steering wheel lights up as it about to shift and we know that the nsx r speed dash shift light lights up as it is about to shift well yea little things like that are left out in fm3,

i'm looking forward to GT5 where most of the buttons in side works or lights up, i mean i know its nothing major to stress about but knowing that little things like these will be on GT5, GT5 will probably look better or look more real. overall the game is good for single play and online is ok, you just got to get used to getting crashed into a lot online trust me. however you can host private as i said and turn collision to ghost where the other players will go right through you and this feature should have been on default instead,

People at GTPlanet are adult Racing Sim lovers and they play everything (rFactor, LFS, GT5P) and a big bunch of them bought XBOX360 just for Forza 3. Most of them didn't love it not because they are in a GT fansite, but because they have high standards.
