Can someone please give me information on the amount of time it took for the PS2 to have each price drop (and what the price was) since its release? Also can I have the same information for the Wii?

If I am correct the intial price of the Wii was $250 and it took almost 36 months to drop to $200?

I remember buying a release PS2 for £299.99 from GAME, but I cannot remember how long it took before there was a price cut lol.

Original Price was $299 I know that for sure.  In 2000

I bought my PS2 (or rather, my mother did since I was a Teen then, lol)
she paid $249 Dec. 2001.

2002 followed up with another price drop going down to $199, which was around May.

2004 was the $149 price drop.

2006 went to $129.

sony always price cut even if they didn't need it :p

If I remember correctly My mum paid 479$ for PS2 in April 2001 and it was released Dec 2000 for 499$, yepp Sweden is expensive

i remember paying around $480 for a ps2 but thats australian dollars of cause, then it had a $100 3 years later, thats all i remember
