I wasn't going to be an early adopter of 3D gaming anyway, I want to make sure that it won't give headaches a la the virtuaboy before I even try it.

Even if this is true, its perfectly in line with what the market needs. No one will be adopting 3D for their home theater in mass for at least another 2-3 years (which by then the 720/NextBox will be out!).

funny, I played Avatar on 360 in perfect stereoscopic 3D few months ago.

Well I think they are retared, didn't microsoft show Gears 2 on 3d in CES10 about a month ago and avatar have 3d too so i think it's for the PR.

3D is to this generation what online was to the previous and current. It'll take another generation before it can be implemented well and it'll probably take about 4-5 years from now before it really takes off on consoles. Getting there first doesn't ensure success in the next generation though, but it does help.

It's a pretty small thing, but we would say either "it's not 3D compatible" or "it's not compatible with 3D" the way you wrote it sounds like Borat. Google translate can end up with some pretty funny translations. Have you ever translated an English document into French using Google translate? I bet it would be funny that way too.
