I see installing on the 360 as mandatory. I think it actually helps with RROD. The system doesn't get even to the point of hot when a game is installed. and I always unplug my 360 when i'm done with it.
You must be retarded if you're suprised that the install takes 18 GB. It's on 3 discs after all and we have known that for a long time now.
I install all my games to the 360 (deleting the ones I haven't played in a week + and/or when I get new games to make room) it improves loading times, reduces RROD issues from what multiple have said, and I could have sworn in some of the DW games the draw rate became better but I haven't been able to prove it yet.
Either way It's still totally optional to do, unlike some other systems ;)
It's just that simple.
Unlike the other sytem where ff13 is in 1 disc and no any sort of installs at all.
funny how this thread is about ff13 isntall on 360 turned into "well 360 lets you choose so HAHA ps3" effing pathetic.

Risen is only 2GB lol
OT: Many people seem to forget that you don't need to install more than one disc at a time on your HDD, if at all...

lol how'd I know you were going to quote me
People always made a big deal when PS3 games had installs (even though most of them were optional) so it should be alright for people to do that with the X360 as well.

What if I told you that there was an option for the 360 where you didn't have to install it at all, too. Would you believe me?
| redux_4 said: Id just like to point out that Daley Thompson's Decathlon on the Spectrum took about 20 mins to install. Sometimes it would crash after all those horrible loading sounds and I had to start again Seriously, installations really don't bother me at all. It just shows how bloomin impatient people are these days. |
I was never able to get my version to work. I did dl a rom of it a few years ago to get to finally play it. Same with Striker and Dan Dare.
this good imo. less heat from the box.
