Forums - Gaming - FFXIII on xbox 360 install requires 18,3Gb!

I will install, like I did with LO and SO4... obviously I deleted SO4 before much of that was explored.

Installing on the 360 is so quick its silly not to.

But you still have to swap disc, which voids the hole point of installing them all at once.

Installing them one by one is what i would do, saves HDD space.

OT- Ill probably see how hard the Achievements are and if there 40+ hours into the game then ill end up renting it on PS3.

oh for gods sake, get a grip some of you.

This doesn't matter AT ALL.

They are optional & if you have the space why not install it, how is this off putting in any way at all?

Just install it & enjoy!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

No it doesnt... I install to reduce noise and promote reliability.   Space has never been an issue... as soon as you finish a game delete the install.

Thats why i said Install them as you go, no need to install them all at once unless you plan on beating the game that night.

the big question is, will there be back tracking in the game, or is it 1 way till last disc and thats where remainder of game stays for side missions exploring?

Its linear the hole game and if its not (its linear the hole game i head) the last disc will have the open world/backtracking parts on it.

So its best to install each disc as you can and delete them.

Why is there 2 threads on the same subject? and i was just gonna quote you in the other thread lol

Okay, first of all, I install every single game I play. Second of all, installs are optional (as stated in the op). C.)I got MGS4, Heavy Rain, DMC4 and several other PS3 games. I GUARANTEE that I could install all three discs on the 360 (15-20 minutes) in less time than it takes to install any ONE of those PS3 games.

I'm getting the PS3 version, but really. Try updating a PS3 game or installing a PS3 game to the HDD. Don't pity 360 owners over install/update time. They should be pitying you!!

@Doobie_Wop, I installed all of Lost Odyssey's discs with no problem. Are you sure you didn't mean MGS4's install data?

And sorry if my posts in this thread are a little venomous. I just hate it when people make a point with facts that are totally wrong.

Couldnt care less about this game but even if i did i dont have room to install everything. Currently i have 1.3 GB left on my 120 GB hdd. Heres hoping they release a 250 GB standalone HDD after E3!

Long Live SHIO!

^^Nope, Kowenicki. Once you finish disc 1 (or any disc in LO), you never had to back track/use it again. Unless you play a new game or wanted to watch the cinematics using the viewer, that is.
