Is atheist really a religon.

Its a belief just like all the other things in the list.

A belief in what. I don't believe in anything,so how is that a religon?

Simple.

If you dont believe in anything then you don't believe anything is there?

Atheism=A belief that there is no God

Christianity=A belief in Jesus Christ being the son of God

Islam=A belief that Allah is God and Mohammed was his messanger

etc etc

Atheism isn't the belief that there is no God. It is simply not believing that there is one. It's the lack of a belief rather than an active belief in itself.

"Hindi" isn't a religion.

Anyway, I'm Atheist, technically.

Technically I'm an athiest. I like to pick and choose by what fits me the best. I feel like (unsurprisingly) Yoda's description of the force in Empire Strikes Back does a good job of how I feel about god. I like the focus on nature that the Wiccan's have, and the idea of the ocean of souls that we belong to in Hinduism. I don't think that any of these are all that wild, especially compared to bearded sky-man who makes people out of dirt.

Agnostic, but its not there so I put atheist.

I'm shocked at this thread.

Mainly that of all the posts so far, no one has said Jedi..

Where the hells the church of Fonzie?!

I'm not really a religious person. I guess I'm more of a Christian than anything. I pray and I talk to God sometimes. I'm not sure if we got it right (the facts about religion), though. I guess I'm just dust blowing in the wind.

After finding out that Tiger Woods is Buddhist and that his teachings led to him having sex with several women, I'm considering it. He was more of a "Booty-ist", though.

I want to say something witty and funny, but I can't come up with anything, so I'll just say I'm atheist
