Sony just wants to teach you all a lesson... "Next gen, buy it when it's released!" =P

It's pretty weird situation. Sony has shipped at least 33.5milj units and 31.82 million of these has been sold to consumers and still they have shortages. WTF?

sorry to tell you but the only ps3s sonys been shipping to the chicagoland area is 120gbs. No 250gb have been made since christmas

100 in stores? Reall? Wow! that's a lot of PS3.

Its because Sony are a software company. One wouldn't expect them to be able to handle the vaguearies of a slight SKU change without major shortages, give them a break!

never said that. Sony is shipping the 120gb nation wide. Just sell out so soon after looks like there are no shipments. common sense really.

It's not really common sense when you have 20 different people telling storys about how their local Gamestops (and other retailers) haven't got any new 120gb shipment since who knows when....

 don't think you reallly know what you are talking about. Gamestop probablly gets a shipment every 2 - 3 weeks. They are just selling out within a day so if you dont check after every delivery every day you wont know about it.

Here, Wednesday was our last Ps3 shipment. Our whole area (10 stores) got 1 box (3).  By Friday (before the store opened) all of them were sold out except 1 store. So if someone didn't check the internet on thursday they would have never known there was a shipment.
