Forums - Gaming Discussion - What do you want from FFXV?

I want FFXV to one up FFXIII. The only way for that to happen is for it to be announced Wii exclusive. It would take the internet down twice as long as when FFXIII was announced for X360

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

1: real turnbased (up to FFX)
2: Overworld
3: Medieval world
4: Chocobos
5: Crystal song
6: Victory theme
7: Airship
8: Towns
9: FF7 materia system or FF6 Espers
10: Armors and weapons (like FF6's)
11: Atleast 1 hour between each save point
12: Nobuo Uematsu
13: Have someone named Cid
14: Less Cutscenes more gameplay
15: Love story( like the one in FF8 )
16: Moggles

etc

etc

etc

XIII has a Cid and chocobos...

Ah, and the VIII love story wasn't any good. FFX FTW.

I'd like to be able to control all of my characters....not just one like every final fantasy game made before XI and unlike everyone made after it.
Honestly though make it happen cause going from three characters to one seems like a downgrade not an improvement....

A game based on a large cast of well developed characters, a well thought out story that has a good beginning, middle, and end, and a game that doesn't focus only on graphics.

Around the Network

In-world battles like ff12
Good storytelling
Towns
More mature characters, less teens/children and androgynous boys
Controllable party
Optional Japanese voices
Less development time

Currently playing: Gran Turismo 5
Just finished:
Infamous 2

1. Fast paced turn based battle system
2. Good/engaging story
3. Ingame advent children graphics (near or on par)
4. Towns
5. Airships
6. Great character designs
7. HD
8. Non linear
9. Less development time
10. Japanese dub as well as english dub
11. Exclusivity (hence points 3, 7, and 10)

Now this I agree with. Like in FFXII the most powerful weapon in the game can only really be acquired if you don't collect certain treasure boxes and then goto a certain place. One of those treasures you don't get is one of the first you ever see in the game. How would anyone actually know not to get that treasure and not ruin their chance of getting the most powerful weapon?

Hmm, pie.

Towns.
Console-exclusivity.

Fun and console exclusivity.

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!
