I never played the first two games in the series. I decided to play the demo of Yakuza 3. I was impressed by the boss fights and combo systems the main character uses in fights. I also found the story interesting. The graphics are pretty good.

I think after playing God of War III, I should save up money to buy this game.

i like the demo and i like the fighting but i dont get why people call it a japanese GTA are u able to drive around in the full game?

the deom for yakuza 3 was pretty good the only game that i really cant wait for is God of war 3 i might buy yakuza when its like 39$ or less

God of War III is the #1 game I've been waiting for. I've never been this hyped up for a game since the Metal Gear Solid 4's release.

Well, Yakuza 1 was great, Yakuza 2 was even better, with one of the most interesting and well produced stories in gaming and i guess 3 is even better.
Definitelly getting it, summer at the latest.

It's because you can freely explore the city for the most part.  It's smaller scale than GTA from what I have seen but it is for all intense and purposes a Japanese GTA.  I haven't played Yakuza 1 or 2 either.  Good news is that I read and watched the recent IGN hands on for the game and you can watch recaps for the first two games which is a great design decision since the previous games sold poorly in the West.  From the demo, the combat does take a little getting use to but is very fun once you do.  There is a small problem, it is getting released the same day as FFXIII and a week before GoWIII, two games I can't wait for.  Maybe my bro will still have money for the game.

I don't know how someone could call this game the japanese version of GTA. Its a completely different type of game.

i love yakuza. its the closest i will get to playing a shenmue style game :)

saying that, i just bought MAG, have HR exclusive edition pre ordered and then there is gow3 :s

i might need to trade in my fight night round4 and wolverines revenge to get it a wee bit cheaper.

i cant believe its only feb and im running low on game cash reserves :s next there is SSF4, Modnation Racers, GT5, Last Guardian, Bayonetta when it is cheaper, Halo: Reach, Alan Wake and the Arc/Gem :s i need to start playing the lottery :s
