As much as I love first person shooters, especially WW2, I just feel that we have played every battle there is to play. Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Brothers in Arms, Battlefield 1942 and the other 100 that I could not be bothered to list. Many of us have at least played 2 or 3 different games which feature the same towns, same places, pretty forests and the like. With Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield Bad Comany 2, Ghost Recon 2 as well Crysis 2 shifting battle onto the "Digital Battlefield", I personally feel that I would not go back and buy another WWII FPS set in Europe though a would not mind a change of scenry, lets say Korea. CoD WaW tried a new angle, yet it felt too recycled.

Does anyone agree with me here?

There wasn't much war in Korea... do you just mean the Korean war? Becuase next CoD is rumoured to be set in Vietnam and other places in the Cold war.

I have had enough of WW II, maybe next gen we can get one more that really wows us, like CoD 2 did at the start of this gen

Please, no more WWII shooters.
I would like to see some WWI shooters, or maybe Korean war shooters.

@Munkeh111

Indeed I meant the Korean war, it would at least be a change of scenery, CoD Vietnam..might be interesting if we could get a few B52s and carpet bomb the jungle, but I just feel that its not going to bring anything new to the game..a few different guns, not enough to convience me.

Ofcourse their is room for it............. We just need a dev that can let it feel fresh. It was the same about WWII movies their are probably thousands of them and people were getting tired of them until Band of Brothers came out. I found it great (and yeah I know it is not really a movie still..).

I've had enough WWII FPS's before evne CoD arrived
DoD and MoHAA ftw.

God I hope not.

Another one???? Oh my....
