I wonder how likely it is that sony was going by VGCHARTZ numbers when they said the game had almost sold 3 million and we had it at 2.8? More sources seem to be using VGCHARTZ then ever these days. VGCHARTZ however believed sony to be talking shipped and not shipped and then lowered the sales of Uncharted which then resulted in Sony clarifying how many copies had been shipped? Seems reasonable. And kind of a middle finger to us at the same time. :/

IF they really used Vgchartz numbers then why did they say that UC2 outsold UC?

Its more likely that the 3 million number that was thrown around were shipped numbers for 2009 while the 3,5 millions are newer numbers.
