Yeah I've beaten it twice and only played a couple games of multiplayer.

Don't know about a typo. The article also stated that U2 is the fastest selling title (1st party).

If memory serves me correctly that claimed couldn't be made if the figure was 2.5m because MGS would hold that record....but I would need to confirm this so don't quote me on that.

I doubt that 900k are on shelves as that would be some mad overstocking by the stores...who knows.

It's good for the publishers\devs because I guess they get paid for 3.5m sold regardless of how many have been sold to households.

MP is a bad way to guesstimate the sales, this is not CoD:MW or Halo where 90% of those who buy it probably do it mainly for the online.

I can't speak for everyone in the world but no one I play with (friends) have completed the single player on CoD:WoW/MW/MW2 but always play online.

Uncharted 2 was adjusted from 2.8m down to 2.6 just recently.

What numbers made them cut it down to 2.6m? If Sony said it was close to 3m in 2009 and close to 3.5m in 2010. What numbers causes the adjustment to go down 200k just like that? If they've shipped 3.5m, they've probably sold about 3-3.2m.

Would be nice to have an adjustment thread that can sum up all the adjustments and have sources that shows why it was adjusted.

Isn't MGS4 third-party? I'm not saying it is a typo (I hope and think that it isn't), but MGS4 shouldn't be considered for the record in discussion, seeing as it is third-party.

i platinum'd the game and still multi-player alot lol.... im level 47, new patch helps you level way faster.

I play online, but I bought it for the single player.
