I was just wondering how many of you out there love Metal in any of its varieties and RPGs at the same time.

Just for the fun of it, I would like you to tell which are your favourite bands and which RPG games you like better.

I love metal bands such as Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Edguy followed by others as Dream Theater, Nightwish and Masterplan, among others.

My favourite RPGs kind of games are Japanese/turn based RPGs (FF series, Persona 4), Strategy RPGs (Fire Emblem series, FF tactics, Valkyria Chronicles, Disgaea) and Action RPGs (Tales of series, Zelda series).

What about you?

I'm not hugely into metal, but there are still some of my all time favorite bands in there. Kamelot, Rammstein, Godsmack, Clawfinger, and just a little Slipknot, Marilyn Manson and KoRn. Those are the ones I listen to primarily.

For RPGs, I'm mostly into WRPGs (Dragon Age, Knights of The Old Republic and The Witcher to mention some), though I also really like Valkyria Chronicles. I'm not that big on RPGs in general though, and much less JRPGs.

You should listen to the black mages, Im not really a great fan of metal but I do like what they do with Final Fantasy music.

I'm generally more into nu/hybrid metal so: Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, Lacuna Coil, Rammstein, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Byzantine, Godsmack, Deftones, Static X, Spineshank

As for RPGs I like mainly WRPGS: Dragon Age, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Witcher, Fallout 1 & 2, Planescape Torment, Neverwinter Nights, Baldurs Gate, KoToR 1 & 2, Mass Effect 1 & 2, Morrowind, Deus Ex.

I do however, like some JRPGs, it's just most of them are rather old now: FFIV-X, Golden Sun, Tale of Phantasia, Chrono Trigger, Grandia, Final Fantasy: Adventure.

Don't play MMOs, and I'm not a huge fan of strategy RPGs.

Metal, mm... Melodic Death Metal, Power Metal and Black/Gothic/Doom Metal are my favorites... Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, Emperor, Illanth, Sacramentum, Dissection, Mork Gryning, Amorphis, My Dying Bride, early Cradle of Filth, Blind Guardian, Helloween, Iron Savior, it's all good...

My favorite RPG's are JRPG's, namely, FFX , FF Vi, DDS2, Persona 3, Legend of Dragoon, and lots of others.
