MW2>MAG>BC2??

I would say BC2>MW2>MAG...i mean...Im not knocking MAG...its has to deal with far more players then either games...but overall BC2 just looks awesome. The enviroment..the building..the dust and snow..i personally think is great. Character models and animation looks great too.

Like whats been said..i also enjoy the fact the BF, like MAG, is a team centered game rather then MW2 which is more on whoever get the ac130 or nuke wins.

Its your opinion and what ive seen and played alittle of MAG is awesome..i dont own a ps3 nor will I (not a fan of the controller and really dont have the money for it) but if MAG is keeping ya happy then enjoy it.

(on a side note..most of my friends are trading in MW2 for BF....so i dont think youll need to worry about MAG losing players..rather then MW2 losing a few)

Some of you guys misinterpreted something here:

I meant in the GRAPHICS department that BFBC2 was the worst game of the three. I don't think the engine looks much better than BFBC1. There are a lot of jaggies, the vegetation looks grainy, it's just not very good. In MAG the graphics are more plain jane, but at least they're clean and crisp. And graphics are the least of my problems really--if the game is fun, I don't care if it's not a graphics power house.

I'm just saying that I don't think BFBC2 is going to topple MW2 as EA is claiming. If anything, it's COPYING MW2. It's definitely catering more to that kind of player, which is why I think I'm probably going to skip BC2 and get Battlefield 3 for PC. If I want true BF-like gameplay, I'm going to play MAG for the time being. If I want MW, I'll play MW. If some of you guys had played some of the classic BF titles on the PC, you would know why I'm a little disappointed here. EA knows that CoD games sell, so they're trying to emulate them. If they do that with BF3, I will not be buying that game either.

I support this thread.

No, it's not copying MW2 when it comes to what matters, the game-play mechanics. It only copies Modern Warfare's marketing to the broad masses. So you're right about that part, it's catering to that kind of player and many MW2 players will buy BC2. And that's a good thing because these players will move to a lot more advanced and sophisticated game in my opinion (with BC2's objective based team play). We need those games too, with a big player base to support them.

Well I enjoyed the demo haha. It's a lot of fun and something me and my XBL buddies can really dig into.

And I would love if those CoD players would actually follow those objectives----but they're not going to.  They're going to camp and snipe, just like in the Hitler video from earlier.  And if they're not camping/sniping they'll be running and gunning.  They will not use their mics, they will not follow objectives, and they will lose rounds for you.  On the bright side, they may also get sick of the game pretty quickly and quit as well.

MAG is one of the only online shooters I have ever played that does not cater well to these idiots.  You can't just run into an objective and try to take everyone out.  You will die.  Plain and simple.  And players that "get" MAG are not going to run in and save you, because they are actually trying to take the objective, not pump up their stats.  If you are sniping for even 2 minutes in MAG, it's likely that after your first kill at least 15 people are going to know where you are and knock your ass out.  If you're sniping in MAG, you had better make sure you're in a good spot, and good luck getting back to that spot once you die and have to respawn.

I don't know, maybe BC2 will prove me wrong.  As I said before, I love the Battlefield series, and the console games are getting a little closer to the PC experience from BF2, BF2142, etc, but they're not nearly as good in the long run.

I actually agree the demo didn't impress me at all, I love Battlefield. 1943 is one of my favourite games to play online on the xbox, it's fun in a different way than MW2 and the lack of auto aim, noob tubers and everything means I'm actually a lot better at it than I am at MW2 (K/D wise anyway) but BC2 I don't know what it was, maybe it was just the map (really didn't like it) but it just didn't click with me. Part of me still really wants to buy it when it comes out but I'm not sure, I have Halo, MW and 1943 already so I'll probably just wait until the price drops before considering it

There really is not much for you to say BC2 is a let down. The game hasn't been released yet. Maybe you are not pleased with the demo but saying it's a letdown based on that is a big thing to say. I think the problem you are currently facing is transcending for one game to another too fast and the thing is that ones you get very custom to one of the games whether it's COD, BF, MAG, Halo or what not. It's hard to like the others. What I find weird though is that you were able to like MW2 then like MAG as well, but not BC2.

Graphics is BC2>MW2>MAG <- it's a fact no matter what you think.

MAG>BC2 in graphics

If EA copied MW2, they would allows people to destroy tanks with machine guns, as I see people who play COD do.
