If you wanna count junk like "Just Dance" selling millions...then yea, the Wii sells lots of 3rd party software

Well those sales must count for something considering Sony's shameless Wii Remote knockoff that's coming out.

Hey, if we only count games we personally like, then I have no problem claiming the HD twins can't sell third party software!

 

On the other hand, if you think people aren't enjoying Just Dance, well that's just wrong. It has the sales pattern of a game with great word of mouth. A game is not 'junk' if it's satisfying it's customers.

No, we're busy buying AAA 1st party games.  Unlike PS3 owners.

What on earth do SFIV and RE5 have to do with Just Dance and Game Party? I'm not so self centred that I think only games I like can be good, but why does the existence of successful expanded audience titles preclude the existence of core titles?

No, it means that they really have no other options. Now imagine if more 3rd parties actually put the effort they put into their HD games and made more games like Monster Hunter Tri...

I personally only buy the 3rd party games that I bleieve deserve sales for Wii, like RE4, Madworld (at a cheap price), Muramasa, Little King's Story, Zack and Wiki, etc.

This is why I have no sympathy for Sony being in last place. If they talk smack like this when they are in last, imagine if they had PS2 like dominance again..

Though we kind of already know what that would be like when they made arrogant statements like "our fans would buy a PS3 even if it had no games on it."
