In an interview with GI.biz, Corre said that the release date of the film didn't help and that there wasn't any buzz for the title, as little had been shown of the movie.
Corre concluded by saying: "we were also hoping to create a better experience, I'd say, in terms of gaming - but it's not always easy when you have to follow the rules of a studio."
Meh, all I hear are excuses. I've played both versions (If you didn't know, the PS3/360 and Wii/PSP versions held different experiences) and while both had their moments, they were tied down due to repetitive and uninspired gameplay. Plus, the 360/PS3 version holds one of the most unsatisfying video game endings I've ever experienced (I only played as the Na'vi side... because really, who's going to play as the humans in an Avatar game? Not me... not me).
I mean, it would have helped if the game at least borrowed some of the tools that made the movie so successful (is it too hard to ask for the movie's soundtrack to be in the actual games?). I know, I know... they're movie based games... but to see such wasted potential aggravates me.
