I am thinking about getting this game but im just wondering how is the online community in it?

To be honest, it's pretty darn active. I'd say at peak times there can be 30,000-40,000 people online, which, although that isn't Call of Duty numbers, it's still pretty darn high, so you'll never be waiting too long to find a match, the longest I've had to wait was around 2 minutes, but that was really early in the morning (Like 8am) where the majority of the players (Mainly US) weren't online.

A friend of mine has the game and apparently it's got a very active community. Take from that anecdotal evidence what you will.

I play, I mainly do the directives matches which randomly picks a game mode  for you based on the one with the shortest wait. And i mostly wait only a few seconds when im in que for a match.

This game good judging by the reviews it got it should be!

I don't generally have to wait more than a minute or two to join matches, except really early in the morning GMT.

First week Saturday I saw a max of 25k (playing at 10:30 EST)

second saturday at the same time was about 18k

thrid saturday was also about 18k

but thats just at random times and numbers were round, so don't reily on them too much

It's always pretty busy on MAG, and there's no issues with getting disconected like MW2.  If you're after an online tactical shooter you could do a lot worse.

Community is good.
