To be honest, it's pretty darn active. I'd say at peak times there can be 30,000-40,000 people online, which, although that isn't Call of Duty numbers, it's still pretty darn high, so you'll never be waiting too long to find a match, the longest I've had to wait was around 2 minutes, but that was really early in the morning (Like 8am) where the majority of the players (Mainly US) weren't online.
