I would give my nationality as British, but I would say the country that I'm from is the United Kingdom, not Great Britain.

I'd say English to another British person and maybe to a foreigner if they ask where in Britain I'm from. Even though I am happy to be English, I wouldn't consider my nationality English, I would consider it British.
