That video was awesome.
It just looks so much damn fun.

Well the problem is that Red Steel 1 (placed in modern day Tokyo) isn't even in the same universe as Red Steel 2 (Random East meets West desert town). So the only thing that remains the same is the name and the swordplay/gunplay (and the latter is massively improved upon). Still, the original had its moments. The best part of that game is the Gaming District area. Now that was a trippy (and totally awesome) level. Other than that, the game is nothing special. Still it's one of the few Wii FPS that offers local splitscreen, so I have to give it some Smeags Points for that one. @OT Yep, the game looks (and it looks like it plays) great. I'm definitely stoked for this one. Put me on the hype list! |
youve intrigued me with this gaming district level . . .
do you get to play a bunch of mini games?

Haha... let's just say that you wind up in a rather eccentric man's personal theme park... meant to kill you.
It was really a refreshing (and rather imaginitive) level comapred to the repetitiveness of the other levels.
Plus... you got to fight Power Rangers. Yep, Power Rangers... 'nuff said.
@smeags
i may pick it up then

If you can find it for cheap, go ahead. It'll look nice next to your copy of RS2.
As for Modern Warfare... I really need to get on that. But I'm about to go to the movies (Gonna see Shutter Island, looks good!) but I'll definitely add you (seriously this time!)
@smeags
as a giant scorcese fan, i am jealous of you :)
I'm definitely not impressed by the gunplay.
The cutscenes are awesome and the swordplay looks very good.
@ Shonen
It should be Turkish.
