If you like survival horror then you can't go wrong with Condemned: Criminal Origins (still only on 360 I believe). Easily one of the best horror games of this generation. Stay away from Condemned 2, however.

i will change assault heroes to assault heroes two, but thats it. he does not have pc games listed in his profile and picked up Dragon age for ps3, so its a good assumption that he doesnt own a gaming pc meaning he will likely want the games included in suggestions.

BUT I would add XBLA Bomberman game, it's awesome.
i'd suggest left 4 dead 1/2or mass effect 1/2, unless you have a pc. those are pretty fun games

Mass Effect 2.. If freaking great. The gameplay is fun.. But the story, atmosphere and characters is what makes it. Plenty of playtime to get lost in the ME universe.
