Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Pokemon games are just remakes and cash ins

Technically every pokemon game is just a cash in. I enjoyed them in the ages past. But I can only do the same shit so many times.

yea we know that, essentially they are all the same as Red/Blue were. You get a starter pokemon out of 3 types Grass/Fire/Water. You then travel and collect all badges from the 8 gyms and then fight final four. While doing this there is some form of a team rocket doing something that you stop their plans on your journey. all the same for each game just different pokemon, world map, team rocket.

but as I say with all other games, if you don't like Pokemon then don't bitch about it. Obviously people like it and keep buying it so why does it matter to you if they are a cash in/remakes.

Hell I feel the same way you do about all the shooters. I figure all you need to do is buy 1-2 shooters per generation and your set. This gen is seems if you have Halo 3 and COD4 you are set and can just play them the entire 10 year generation or wahtever it will be. Don't waste your money on new shooters. You got two great shooters with a huge online number of poeple available at all times so your set.

Let's wait and see if Game Freaks can deliver on their promise before dismissing gen5 like many are doing. At least wait until we get solid info and gameplay footage and images.

I'm too lazy to read the article but I will just say I agree.

Long Live SHIO!

Anyway so this guy is a Nostalgist parading as an anti-Pokemon

It's funny, because whoever wrote that probably ran out and bought MW2 day one.

I agree completely. I played blue when it came out, and then picked up some newer pokemon such as emerald when it came out. It was basically the same game.

I know a lot of sequels are the same game as the original, but at least they usually change things and try to improve. It is like the Pokemon team has no interest in pushing the series forward.

I will buy the next pokemon game when I hear they have made significant improvements.
