Basically, the game's text is hard to read on SD TV's, just like banjo kazooie and dead rising. And bioware has no plans to fix it.

Sucks for people who don't game on an HD tv..

Everything is less sharp in SD.
Play it on a bigger SDTV, a PC monitor, buy a HDTV or simply live with it.

HDTV's are getting very cheap now. I saw a 42' 1080p at target for $499. A cheap hdtv will beat a sdtv neday.

So solution, buy a cheap hdtv and u get hd.

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

Microsoft launched a HD-console back in 2005 so it's about time the games for it caught up. Mass Effect 2 looks fanastic in HD, that is the way it's supposed to be played. Gamers who have a SDTV and get a HD-console know that they aren't getting the maximum out and as time passes the differences will only get bigger. You can hardly blame developers for going with the times. As for that article, among the average households the percentage of SDTVs is low as it also counts older households who never owned a console. Among games the percentage is obviously higher.
