In any case they would trade all their 'diverse' games if they could have just 3 franchises with the attach rate of Mario Kart, NSMB and SMG.

As a gamer, I prefer it Sony's way. You can all toss around your Halos and your Marios and their huge sales numbers. But guess what? Those are only 2 games! If you want to be happy with that, fine. But I'm happy with games that cover every taste known to man

I could not agree more with this topic. I have always loved my PS3 and my 360 equally. However, Sony's exclusives are way better (just my opinion) and I am loving the variety in the last year. It only looks better on the horizon (although I cannot wait for Alan Wake).
