Very true.

I dont know about bigger, but it has at least one QUALITY game...The Last Guardian

I'm trying to think of Sony exclusive franchises that could have a big impact. I'm sure they will come up with some new properties, but as far as older, non-third party games, here's what I came up with:

Omega Boost
Ape Escape (if they get the rights back from Ubi)
Twisted Metal (the already said that it won't return anytime soon)
Sly Cooper (not a really BIG franchise)
Jak & Daxter
Syphon Filter (this one COULD be big if done right)
Legend of the Dragoon (I hated the first, but it's still a big name)
Jet Moto (I REALLY want a jet ski game. This is as close as I'm likely to get)

Not the biggest library in the world (there are others, but these are the most marketable in my opinion). Aside from Gran Turismo, God of War may very well be it. The PS1 and PS2 thrived on third party exclusives. In an age where third parties know no loyalties, Sony has proven to be exceptionally resilient. They made some new franchises (Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, MAG, MotorStorm, etc.) and were successful. I'm sure they have more tricks up their sleeve. They just don't have as many established hit exclusive franchises as Nintendo (or surprisingly, Microsoft).

GT5 should be bigger than GoW 3.

-GT5 for sure
-FFv13

-Agent ( could be great)
-The last Gaurdian
-modNation Racers (might be as good as LBP)
-Resistance 3 ( insomniac releases resistance and ratchet and clank every year and ratchet and clanck was out last year so I'm pretty sure this will come out. They should make this game better than the 2nd)

Those last four might not be bigger than gow but all four combined should increased hardware sales.

GT5 will be the last system selling game and huge title for the PS3 in my opnion.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Since when did Ubisoft buy the rights to Ape Escape?

I don't know.  I got Ape Escape: Pumped and Primed (and it came in an Ape Escape 2 DVD case) and the case and the game say "Ubisoft".  I just assumed it went the way of Crash and Spyro.
