i read about this on the FF13 GFaqs forums. It looks like they have apologized for it claiming it was some sort of mistake.

Considering they have full control of the game engine... why couldn't they have just posed it the same way with both games.

Either way I kinda laughed today when I saw my first FF13 ad. You wouldn't even know it was on the PS3.

Doesn't seem like that big a deal though.

You know, devs are really the ultimate victors in the "console war". They dont even have to pay heavy advertising costs themselves anymore and if sony decides to retaliate by advertising the ps3 version, thats more sales for S-E at no additional cost.

Them and gamestop anyway.  Don't know how they always end up in those commercials.

Having spent a week analyzing workflow in a big companies media and markeitng department this doesn't surprise me in the least.

One thing I clearly observed was how often the guys with the high end media stations would reach for copy, paste and edit to avoid work when they could fake the result.
