No actually auto-aim can't be turned off on console games. I wasn't just talking about auto-aim though. No game requires as much precise aim and fast movement as UT since it came out. Also I'd still play SF2 over SF4 any day of the week. Though at least SF4 was better than SF3. WHen it comes down to brass tacks. SF2 is better than SF4, no competition.

For me there's only one reason why I always liked and still like PC gaming: The exclusive games that I'm interested in. Same applies to all other gaming platforms I own:

I bought a laptop for Civilization 4, point&click adventures, RTS, building sims, etc.
I bought a DS for Zelda, Mario & Luigi, Professor Layton etc.
I bought a Wii for Zelda, Super Mario (3D), Endless Ocean etc.
I bought a PSP for Lumines, Patapon, LocoRoco etc.
I bought a PS3 for The Last Guardian, Flower, Heavy Rain etc.

It's always the exclusives for me, on any system. I don't need another reason, let alone 5.

If you've been playing games as long as I have, it either beats the previous best or it's crap and not worth the time. I'm sorry but I thuoght games were supposed to be better with time, not shittier.

unfortunately thats not the case, and ive been gaming since i was 4, and im 31 now.

an example is oblivion, everyone calls it the best, but it is a scaled down morrowind. i still loved it tho. but the people goin on about it should try morrowind if they havent.

you got two choices be bitter, or enjoy new things.

Thats one terrible list if you ask me :| But hey, its Yahoo so waht are we expecting?

Hated Oblivion, couldn't even finish it. Loved Morrowind. You can't enjoy new things if older are better. That's now how the world works. Not in any medium, people still watch Star Wars and think it's better than most modern movies. As an example, Willow was basically Star Wars but set in a fantasy world, and few people enjoyed it. Why? Because it was worse.

i gave up on em ten years ago, i see maybe 2 or 3 a year

had to go foreign for my films

and yeh star wars . . . . hasnt been a good sci fi film since blade runner (i will accept aliens)

That's how I feel about games. THere hasn't been a more than 4-5 good ones in the past 5 years.

tbh i do agree that there are about 3 or 4 good games a year, that truly get me going

but i will slum it and waste my time with whatever. whereas films id rather die than watch avatar or the oscars or any of that
