I would love for them to have it like BenV said, 10 vs. 10. That's enough chaos, and yet a controllable environment for everyone to experince a good game, good spawn points, full sized maps, and quick combat engagement.

Reach is pretty much confirmed to have matchmaking for Firefight:

"I regret not being able to go back and make Firefight in ODST work and have match-making," he told us. "I think we would have loved to have done that. We've heard it from the fans, we've heard it from the press. It's definitely something we'd have loved to be able to do but we didn't have the scope on the project. We didn't have the time.

"We accomplished a tremendous amount, but that's probably the reason ODST isn't being played as much right now as we'd like. It has had a shorter lifecycle than any of the Halo titles before. But Reach is our big chance to make up for some of those things. "

OMG, Reach is gonna have a firefight mode too?!?!?  What the hell doesn't this game have?  lol it will end up having to be on just about 3-4 discs with all the content they are adding.



^^ :) Bungie has stated that it will have, at the least, feature parity with Halo 3 and that they do not like removing features.

I'm thinking it may even go up to 12 v 12. Definitely nothing more than 16 v 16 though which is more than enough chaos for a Halo game.

I'm just blown away by the amount of features, and work Bungie has put into Halo. Their making sure they go out with a bang, and really do accomplish their goal to make Reach the definite Halo experience. 343 Studios has their work cut out for them for future Halo titles, i wonder if they'll live up to these high standards? Hope so.

Whew. That's gunna be a lot for them to accomplish...i don't know...seems too much, but it could be supported in big game modes, with like 4 large scale maps...err somthing, lol.

Having Frank O'Connor will definitely be a big plus for 343 Industries. It'll be interesting to see how they do when their time comes.
