If this were up North like New York or something, I would say big deal, but this is Texas!  Our previous record for most snow fall ever in a single day was 1.4" and we just got 7.9" in one day! 

Another spot near me got 10"!  o.O

Texan's usually flip out when we get half an inch of snow, I can't imagine what the roads are like right now.

Well that's not as crazy as the last arctic blast that came in mid JAN

Central florida had snow falling all over the place, and portions of southern florida was getting snow as well.

Wow, we're actually at 8.7" now, more than 6 times our old record!

Well, so much for the saying " A snowballs chance in Texas"!

I know! I'm quite estastic as well. We're going to get snow twice in one winter season in Louisiana! This has never happened before!

So it seems that snow records are being set all over the country then. Here in the DC area, it definitely feels like a bad NY year to me. I love it, but the area doesn't know how to deal with it...

I'm sitting under an accumulation of nigh-on to three feet :P.  I'd upload pics, but they're huge high-quality digital camera photos.
