Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Zelda Nukem Forever?

I also can't recommend Dr Mcninja enough. He is both a doctor, and a ninja, constantly conflicted between slicing people in half, healing them, and trying to be Batman. He has a sidekick, a 13-year old gunslinger who grew a moustache out of sheer willpower who rides a velociraptor. He has Benjamin Franklin's clone as a mentor and a family who's totalle nutters (dad's in panel 2). And both the humor and the art are awesome:

I'm guessing the big guy is nintendo. The peas are their fans. Yeah I thought so. This was disproven a long time ago

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

I gotta call using the miscarriage to prove ctrl+alt+del is a bad comic. Mainly because that only proves a possible "ratings stunt". You want to show the overall quality, you have to show several strips that actually show the quality issues people have.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

@ OP

You are absolutely right. I wish that they'd rush out three, four, or maybe five high quality Zelda games a year.

Aaah, VGCats, fire and forget!

Where are all these Zelda games for Wii? GC had 4 of them across 4 years, plus a collection. Maybe too many? DS had 2 across 3 years. Reasonable.
But Wii only one in 3 years. Is it maybe... Conservative?

Sorry for having unintentionally sent oversensitive people anal about webcomics, though...

Strips like this are the reason I stopped reading VGCats. Let me know when they get a proper gamer attitude, because this sure isn't it.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

Which, to me feels like hollowing out the franchise. The next CoD has to do something incredible if they want to hook me. And if they plan on getting a subscription fee then expect a lot of people to jump ship to Battlefield.

By the way, Alfy... 4 Zelda's in the GC lifecycle? I count two, Windwaker and Twilight princess, the last one got rushed so it could be a launch title. Plus, the prvious console-installment was Majora's mask in 2001, Wind Waker in I believe 2004 and TP in 2007. If Zelda Wii is released this year then it adds up.
