VGC is sold to consumers, and we don't know what Microsoft are celebrating. Could be sold to consumers (going by other numbers than ours), or sold to retailers.

Yes it is overtracked, but this site is estimates and do have a 1-2% margin for error. Take it for what it is.

Not enough info to say. If this is sold to consumers, by adding up Chart track, NPD etc then they have to wait for data to come in (monthly, unlike us spoiled VGChartzers) and thus it seems like VGChartz is spot on. If it's shipped, then we still don't know how many they have shipped (over 2 million could mean anything) and we dont know when it was that they were shipped by

Will it outsell the 2nd one? I wasn't aware that the sales had dipped this much since the holidays.

Anyway; I'm sure our numbers are fairly accurate, 90% of the time when someone screams "overtracked!" or ""undertracked!" it turns out to be wrong.

the news page on the forza site didnt mention 2mil in their article about the DLC...so where is the information coming from?

If theres 2.4m units sold, the shipped total would probably be close to 2.5m. So it would make more sense to celebrate 2.5m units sold to retail than "over 2m".

So it probably is overtracked but like i said, this site still got that 1-2% margin for error. But since its such a tiny thing its not adjustment-worthy.
