self-published? If that's the case it can't be a sequel to Rogue Galaxy or Dark Cloud which are owned by Sony.

Nope. Jeanne D'Arc's out too, and this means it's in addition to WKC2.
Of course, Sony's pretty much let all those IPs languish besides WKC... maybe they'd sell the Dark Cloud IP back to L5 or something?

Adjustment time! I wonder how well all the games fare on VGC actually, someone should do a comparison... |
Well, can't be that easy to track, seeing how I've just got a press release in my inbox where MS says 2 million copies of Forza 3 have been sold.... it's quite a bit higher on VGC too for example.
With Ushihiro's sudden disappearance, think there's any chance the game may have moved to Wii or PS3?

Really? Ugh, I never knew that?! Dumb move imo, you'd think they'd actually want to release the game in the region it takes place in? :/ |
It would have sold at least in France.
Take a look at my photos on flickr

Yeah, surprised they didn't release it there at least. Even Nintendo did a localization of Napoleon (early GBA strategy game) JUST for France. :/
It's very lame for them to include Dragon Quest in there. It's like if Feel-plus called Lost Odyssey and Star Ocean 4 its own games, or if Artoon claimed to be the makers of Blue Dragon.
Anyway sales of their console efforts have been really poor compared to the DS. We'll see about these new projects for the Wii and PS3 but I say this company will never find success outside the DS (and future Nintendo handhelds)
Here's Level-5's known upcoming selfpublished retail games (in Japan)...
Like has been said by Hino, the head of Level-5, they aren't really going for sales but 'quality'. But in that crusade of sorts, they have gotten a lot of sales. I think they are doing the right thing, not trying to target a specific market or focus on one kind of series, but just try to make good games. And its paying off. In short, they're like the old Enix, just making and publishing high quality games and hiring anyone who is good.
It may just be irony that now the major Dragon Quest games are being made through their company. Or maybe its not....maybe its a conspiracy...
