Zucas said: Oh there ain't no fucking way it can hit 16-18 million. Start thinking reasonably. First of all we have overtracked a little bit in Europe for the 360. Namely French sales. Secondly we have overtracked a lot in America for 360 ever since October hit. Should have gone down a lot more than we put it.
And 3rdly how much do you think 360 is oging to sell in the next 6 weeks. You really think it'll sell about 3-5 million. Come on Wii is probably going to sell about 6 million in that timeframe and that's with strenghts in all markets. 360 only has strenghts in one. Get real. 360 sales by the end of the year probably somewhere from 15-16 million. |
While I'll agree with you that 18 million is a bit high, I do think there's a very good chance of 16 million + sales.
Regarding the "overtracked" sales: what are you basing this off? Are you just upset and "think" they are being overtracked because it's not what you want to be true (in other words, wishfull thinking?)? Or do you actaully have some concrete evidence backing this up? It seems to me that ioi tweaks his numbers occasionally, so any mistakes are edited out. Even if he made many mistakes, I don't see why the 360 in particular would be overtracked any more often than the other systems. Statistically speaking, I would imagine that in any given week some will be overtracked/undertracked and these errors, in a way, fix themselves as time goes on.
If you could prove to me otherwise with real figures, I might take you more seriously, though (because as of now you just sound like someone who is anti-MS wishfully thinking it can't be true that the 360 pushing the numbers VGChartz lists).
