Definitive RPG of this Generation. Nuff' said.

Until Final Fantasy Versus XIII comes out at least.

When it metas 96 or higher. I'll believe you.

What exactly does FF13 do new anyway?

Well...if you look at the 9.25 it got, it obviously did something right and I don't remember a game EVER having to really do anything NEW to be good, most games just improve on an already used formula. And that was a reference to when Kitase said it was in its own RPG Category...SOOO it is the Definitive RPG of this Generation.

I guess we all have our opinions. But I cant see FF13 being definitive in terms of reviews on meta. ME2 is the definitive RPG of the gen.

Thats great. You enjoy your game, I enjoy mine. Lets leave it at that.

Of course. Man you are actually somone who doesn't get offended by anothers view. I like you. I'll remeber that. So many people on this site never have normal discussions, because either A, they just try and report you or B, try and make narky comments.

I to will enjoy another JRPG. great games to play chilled out with a smoke.

Selnor stop it now.

You came into this thread looking for trouble and to stir up people who are expecting FFXIII to be good and will ultimately find FFXIII better than Mass Effect 2, or any other game you enjoy better.

Why can't you let people decide what's better and what's not? Your opinion isn't worth more than the others. If people find FFXIII to be the definitive RPG of the gen for them, then let them, it's not up to you to decide.

I also distinctly recall you not wanting the same attitudes when it was concerned to ME2 threads, so I will kindly ask you to step down from this attitude or I will report you.

Report me for what. I wasn't talking to you. And if you read my further reply I note his opinion. I wasn't concerned about attitudes on ME2 threads. I found it funny with the one line comments against, which had nothing to do with ME2. I'm getting FF13 and hope it's great. But if a game is definitive, it needs to be quite special. And a 96 meta is gonna be hard to beat.

You're trolling another person's opinions, in a clear attempt to get a response out of them.

You consider meta to be your standard to decide your RPG of the generation. Hey that's all fine and dandy. It isn't the same for everyone else.

Anyone has the right to consider any game they want the definitive of the generation, using whatever standard they want. Yours is not more right than his.

I'll report you because of the attitude of coming here looking for trouble, like I said before. You may have had a valid reply to him, but the point still stands. In your own threads, you also abhored that behaviour, so at least stick to your principles.

Actually, until Xenoblade arrives. That game will be the definitive rpg this gen. It will blow every other jrpg out the water (at least story and music-wise).

The Last Story >>>>>>>> Xenoblade

LMAO, play a Xeno game before you say crazy stuff like that :P Xeno games bring the most in depth and mature storylines known to jrpgs.

Have you played Digital Devil Saga? Mature JRPG also.

He has :P

@darth:

Xenoblade: King

The Last Story/Tales of Graces: Queen (it's a poligamy up in this hoe :P)

DQX: Handmaiden, for both queens!

Of course. The Digital Devil Saga series is VERY deep and mature. I love it (minus the extreme amount of random battles, Sera and Heat). Xenogears and the Xenosaga series is still more deep, mature, in depth and overall better though (minus Shion, Allen and Xenosaga: Episode 2's battle system).

The cgame cold be only cutscenes that the reviewers would give the same score (or even above). Maybe even an 10, like MGS4.

So, FFXIII is a CG game, when it has about 6 hours of cutscenes in a 50-60 hours, main quest only game? 90% gameplay over 10% cutscenes and you consider it a CG game? I want to laugh so hard, but it's not even worth it.

I don't have idea on how much gameplay/cutscene time the game has. The po9int is that they consumed 95% of the game in CGs. They could have made like the biggest game ever, but no, they waste that in flashy cutscenes. And tha's what pisses me off: the Blu-ray has capabilty to do a gigantic game full of contet, but waste that in stories. Reck, a gameboy game is a more sofisticated "game" than this.

Above: still the best game of the year.

What does Blu-Ray got to do with this?

Do you even know that the move from Cartdriges to CD's back in FFVII, had also almost all CD's filled with FMV instead of content?

This happens with all FF's, no matter the physical format they're in.

Also, a gameboy game more "sofisticated" than this? I think this phrase pretty much sums up your intentions.

I'm not even gonna talk to you any further. Your derailing the thread a hell of a long way. My conversation with the other membr ( which didnt involve you ) has finished. And it was a peaceful, loving affair. You have tried to tun this into a slapping dance. If anything you tried to destroy a conversation which was perfectly calm between to people. Gordon Brown my Prime minister does that.

Please leave this point. Move along.

I will, but I will take notes for further threads. Also, I laugh at you saying that I was derailing the thread when other members also replied to you, calling you out. But hey, it's easier to place blame on others ;)
