Forums - Website Topics - Question: Sorting Chart

Hi,

I'm new to VGCharts and was wondering if there any way to sort the chart so that I can get total # of units sold by Publisher.

I know how to sort it so I can get worldwide unit sales. But I'm doing a research paper on Electronic Arts right now and need to get their total monthly unit sales.

Any help would be nice. Thx.

Well here is the monthly chart with only EA numbers, you can see the publisher totals at the bottom

http://www.vgchartz.com/monthly.php?month=1&year=2010&console=&maker=Electronic+Arts&boxartz=1#

This is for worldwide monthly, but you can do this for any chart, by going to the chartz index, then choosing a chart, and there is a drop down box allowing you to view by publisher. All the publishers are listed at the bottom

Hope this is what you are looking for

Nevermind, Munkeh got it

Thanks for the info.

One problem is that the publisher totals at the bottom are only the top 10 (from what I calculated, they don't add up to the world totals). EA doesn't always show up.

My data needs to start from April 2004. When I view by EA only, nothing shows up. Does this mean VGchartz doesn't have the numbers?

Well make sure that it is Electronics Arts, not EA

I did. Looked at the other EA labels as well. Nothing shows up.

Data that far back is certainly limited I think
