Grand Theft Auto 4, though compared to Call of Duty 4 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is pretty overrated.

If quality is subjective, overrated is also a subjective term. And in my opinion, an overused one.

Why are all the game HD exclusive games?


My vote goes to Pokemon series on DS, the formula is extremely dated with minimal add-on in each iteration.

GTA IV by a landslide! I mean, seriously, what the fuck were reviewers thinking?!? The game is alright, and can be really fun. Does it deserve A/90 average score? Sure. Is it the ultimate game creation??!!?? Hell, no!!! This was the most overated game of all time! They didn't bring anything that revolutionized gaming.

The difference kingofwale, is that no one proclaimed that Pokemon was a godly game like no other with ratings of A+++++ 100++++++, whereas games like GTA 4 was claimed to be that great. Pokemon just sells a crap load and from what I hear from some players is that the later installations actually improve over the previous one.

have you read Pokemon review scores lately?

although I have played a few iteration of pokemon games, and was disappointed by lack of innovation (especially after moving to DS from GBA)
