Forums - Nintendo - About the main character of Golden Sun...

His name is spelled Isaac, okay? I had to make this thread because every time I see anyone mention him on any site they write Issac for some completely incomprehensible reason. Yes, this is nitpicking, but I don't care. It annoys me.

Good thread, I approve. You should edit it to include other gaming-related names that are often misspelled, such as Rouge Squadron instead of Rogue Squadron, Patcher instead of Pachter, Maelstrom instead of Malstrom, Gannondorf instead of Ganondorf, Ameratsu (or similarly wrong iterations) instead of Amaterasu (from Okami)...

Yeah, sometimes people write names so wrong, it's starting to hurt.

how about people saying Mahrio instead of MArio (verbal difference as opposed to a written one).

grr that really bugs me

I think that's actually how Peach pronounced Mario's name in Sunshine though. XD The voiceacting in that game was hilarious.

Ah, yeah. I'll let your post stand for those misspellings, though. It should be easy to notice since it's the second post in the thread :)

Alright then. Maybe this should be made into an official thread about the general misspelling of popular gaming-related names. I'm sure people can think of a lot more, haha.

Ah well, it's just that people make names sound really awkward sometimes, even the easy ones.

Let alone the more difficult ones, I can't even begin to remember how many weird versions of names of Zelda characters I've heard over the years, lol.
